“L’Arte deve essere accessibile a tutti. Come il David come un tramonto.”
Con queste parole la fotografa Elisabetta Xsavar mi ha incuriosito, così come mi hanno incuriosito i suoi Nudi Artistici, immagini di uomini scultorei che ricordano dipinti di tempi antichi.
Ma nei suoi scatti si nasconde molto di più, non si tratta infatti di semplici riproduzioni della realtà, quanto piuttosto di un vero e proprio grido al mondo intero, un mondo che per Elisabetta, non sa più ascoltare ne ascoltarsi.
Ed è per questo che attraverso il mezzo fotografico ed anni di rivoluzione artistica, ha deciso di mettere a nudo l’essere umano, un essere umano che ha preso però consapevolezza di un momento storico particolare, ed ha deciso di fare di una scelta la sua vita intera. Il percorso creativo di Elisabetta Xsavar sta infatti raggiungendo un momento importante, con la scelta di realizzare un intero calendario dedicato a uomini Vegani in tutto e per tutto, un calendario a cui seguirà un libro, in italiano ed inglese, in quanto dedicato ad un pubblico assolutamente internazionale.
ITALIAN VEGAN MEN, è quindi prima di tutto un progetto di ricerca e dimostrazione di come quella che potrebbe sembrare semplicemente un’abitudine alimentare sia in realtà un vero e proprio stile di vita. Le sue immagini mostrano infatti il corpo oltre il corpo, linee scultoree che nascono da una consapevolezza di amare se stessi e il mondo intero.
“Art should be accessible to everyone. As David as a sunset.” With these words the photographer Elizabeth Xsavar intrigued me, so I was intrigued as her Artistic Nude, images of men painted sculptures reminiscent of ancient times. But in her shots she hides much more, given that this is not merely the reproduction of reality, but rather a real shout to the whole world, a world that for Elizabeth, can no longer listen to them listen. And that’s why through photography and years of artistic revolution, decided to expose the human being, a human being who took but awareness of a particular historical moment, and decided to make a choice of his whole life.
The creative journey of Elizabeth Xsavar is now reaching an important moment, with the decision to create an entire calendar devoted to men vegans every way, a calendar to be followed by a book, in Italian and English, as dedicated to public absolutely international.
ITALIAN MEN VEGAN, is therefore first and foremost a research and demonstration of what might seem just food habit is actually a real lifestyle. Her images show in fact the body beyond the body, sculpted lines that flow from awareness to love themselves and the world.
